Our Mission

Emmanuel Christian School prepares students for life by teaching a biblical world view which emphasizes character development and academic excellence to the glory of God.

Our Vision

Emmanuel Christian School families will develop the spiritual foundation to nurture children in the mind of Christ to impact their world as they grow and mature to raise families, build churches, and serve God in their vocations.

Philosophy of Education

Emmanuel Christian School holds the historic Christian view of life as presented in the Bible: Since God created and sustains everything through His Son, Jesus Christ, the world and life are God-centered and should glorify Him. Man being a sinner by nature and choice, however, cannot in this condition glorify or know God. He can do this only by being recreated in God's image through committing his life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The total process of education, therefore, must seek this restoration of the student to the position of true knowledge, righteousness and holiness in Christ by developing and relating the whole person to God spiritually, mentally, socially and physically. It must present all truth as God's truth and must interpret it by and integrate it with God's Word. Such education is primarily the parent's responsibility, and the school should function as an extension of the home to aid the parents in educating.

Core Values

Through the work of the Holy Spirit and Christ, Emmanuel Christian School:

  • partners with Christian parents
  • proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • educates the whole child (physically, socially, academically, spiritually, esthetically, emotionally)
  • integrates faith and learning
  • models Christian character/servant leadership
  • encourages service from the neighborhood to the nations

Rearing a child is the most important task we face as parents. The responsibilies are staggering. Children today face pressures far greater than a generation ago. We believe in children, and we are committed to creating a total educational environment that develops confident children with the education, character, and vision to meet their world head on. We seek to be your partner in helping your children become all they were meant to be.

Statement of Faith

Emmanuel Christian School holds and teaches the essential doctrines of the Christian faith as embraced by the Biblical, baptistic position.

We Believe:

....that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. The Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of Salvation and God's plan and purpose in the ages.
....that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
....in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His crucifixion, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His future return for His people.
....in the salvation of the lost through belief in Christ Jesus, God's only begotten Son, who shed His blood on the cross in atonement for our sins, and for our eternal salvation.
....we believe that Salvation is by "Grace," and that men are justified by faith alone and are accounted righteousness before God only through the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
....in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.
....in the bodily resurrection of the dead both the just and unjust, and eternal punishment in hell of the unsaved and eternal joy in heaven of the saved.
...in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
