Expectations
We believe God's timing is perfect, and the academic and social growth of each child develops within that timing. In kindergarten the main curricular focus is Bible truths, reading and math. Social skills are also a huge part of the daily work in kindergarten.
Kindergarten Curriculum
- Bible: ACSI
- Math: Saxon
- Reading: Saxon Phonics and Spelling, Open Court Reading
- Accelerated Reader (AR) is added the second semester
- Science: teacher developed materials
- Social Studies: God's World News and teacher developed materials
- Spanish: teacher's oral instruction of basic words
- Centers: various activities
- Special Classes: art, music, computer, PE, library time
